5.2 magnitude earthquake off Peniche in Portugal : shocks felt up to Lisbon

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was recorded off Peniche this Thursday, November 1, 2018. The earthquake was felt in the municipality of Figueira da Foz and in several localities of the districts of Porto, Braga , Coimbra, Leiria and even Lisbon. According to information from IPMA, the earthquake caused neither material damage nor material damage. The epicenter was about 480 kilometers west of Peniche.
