Return of the curfew in 45 municipalities in Portugal including Lisbon, Porto and Faro

As every week, the Portuguese health authorities announced the new measures. After the ban on entering or leaving the capital city on weekends, then the establishment of an exception for holders of vaccination passports, it is now the return of the curfew that has been announced. It will be in place from 11 p.m. in 45 municipalities that are at high and very high risk, including Faro, Lisbon, Braga and Porto. The Portuguese health authorities have just announced the new measures, and the curfew is back at 11 p.m. This will start tonight, and will concern the 45 municipalities that present a high or very high risk, and you will see that almost all of Portugal is concerned.

Minister Mariana Vieira da Silva says that most of the mainland still has incidence levels below 120 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, "but it is also possible to see the deterioration of the situation compared to the last weeks", with Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, Alentejo, Algarve and other municipalities in other regions with incidence levels above 120.

Here is the list of high-risk municipalities affected by curfews at 11pm: Alcochete; Alenquer; Arruda dos Vinhos; Notice; Braga; Void Castle; Faro; Grandola; Lagoon; Some lakes; Montijo; Odémira; Palmela; Leather walls; Portimão; Harbor; River; Bigger; Santarém; São Brás de Alportel; Sardoal; Setúbal; Silves; sinuses; Sousel; Torres Vedras and Vila Franca de Xira.

We must add the municipalities that are at very high risk: Albufeira, Almada, Amadora, Barreiro, Cascais, Constância, Lisboa, Loulé, Loures, Mafra, Mira, Moita, Odivelas, Oeiras, Olhão, Seixal, Sesimbra, Sintra e Sobral from Monte Agraço.

The minister indicated that there is no exception for this curfew, even for vaccinated people, and that the measures that concern the Lisbon metropolitan area, namely the ban on entering or leave except vaccination passport, will be renewed this weekend from Friday 3 p.m. until Monday 5 a.m.
